Dion & The Unicorn (2024) - Documentary Trailer

1x 35 min Documentary

Dion & The Unicorn (2024) is an observational documentary film that follows British artist Dion Kitson, as he embarks on his first major solo exhibition Rue Britannia at Ikon Gallery, and an ambitious off-site presentation Silver Lining for English Heritage.

Filmmaker Dan Watts follows Kitson’s lively escapades; from his political satire in brushes with the tabloid press, to creating a life-size sculpture of Prince Harry and self-portrait as the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz.

"Kitson understands the state of our nation better than anyone, and why it is the way it is: funny, and beautiful, and dumb"

- Joe Lycett

“He puts the ‘cont’ into contemporary art”

- Foka Wolf
