Dan is a licensed, insured, CAA Approved Drone Operator with GVC and A2 Qualifications. He started flying drones in 2017 as a hobby, and in 2020 started formal training and registration to become a professional pilot. He has held an Operational Authorisation (OA) from the CAA for 4 years. His drone qualification and years of experience enable him to gain permission to fly in flight-restricted zones (FRZ) and challenging environments such as near airports, close to military bases, train stations, sensitive areas, motorways, stadiums, and densely populated cities - either day or night.

His experience as a Director of Photography enables him to craft aerial visuals aligned with the overall cinematography of projects, across film, TV, and social content. He can provide aerial drone filming and photography, and aerial hyper-lapse with his DJI Mavic Pro 2.

He is available to be hired as a drone pilot and as a traditional shooter as well.
